Hi, Lucas here!

Lucas Cecilio is a Leadership & Institutional Architect working at the intersection of theology of work, vocational formation, and entrepreneurship.

He is the founding voice behind Visionary Huddle, a platform dedicated to helping a generation recover a deeper vision for vocation and the role meaningful work plays in the flourishing of society.

Lucas’s work focuses on helping individuals think clearly about calling, responsibility, and the kind of lives they are building through their work. Drawing from theology, leadership development, and entrepreneurial thinking, he explores how faith and vocation can be integrated in ways that shape both personal character and the institutions people build.

Through teaching, writing, and public conversations, Lucas works to equip emerging leaders, builders, and entrepreneurs with the intellectual clarity and formation required to pursue work that serves others and contribute meaningfully to the world.

In addition to his work with Visionary Huddle, Lucas serves in pastoral leadership and mentors young leaders seeking to align their professional lives with a deeper sense of vocation and responsibility.

His broader work centers on forming builders—individuals willing to develop the character, wisdom, and discipline required to create organizations, initiatives, and institutions that advance human flourishing.

Lucas is married to Laura and is the father of Amelia. Together, they live in Portland, Oregon. He is currently a graduate student at Western Seminary in Portland, where he continues his theological studies alongside his work in leadership formation and the theology of vocation.
